Dr. Parikh is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has been practicing in the Pioneer Valley since 2010.

After a graduating from the Brown University School of Medicine, Dr. Parikh completed a prestigious six year residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. After residency, Dr. Parikh completed a fellowship in hand & wrist surgery, and microsurgical reconstruction at the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Parikh currently practices at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts where he serves as Chief of the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Chief of the Section of Hand & Wrist Surgery, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Massachusettes School of Medicine.
He has earned a reputation among his patients for his warm and down to earth bedside manner and his technical excellence that consistently achieves superior results. He has also earned the respect of his peers and colleagues, and is frequently asked to review challenging secondary cases where the initial surgery may have yielded an unsatisfactory outcome.
Dr. Parikh is the author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and has been invited to present his work at local, regional, and national surgical conferences.
